Level 2 DNP Prereading

The DNP+ approach to needling is not trigger point based and is unique in the way it combines manual orthopaedic assessment, neurodynamic testing and traditional Japanese meridian therapy needling techniques.
Because of this there is no literature published specifically regarding DNP+.
Variations of trigger point needling are widely practiced so and this is reflected in the availability of literature for this approach.
Some of the mechanisms proported to occur during and following trigger point needling are relevent to DNP+ as well.
The following articles from The Journal of Manual and Manipulative Therapy are written by clinicians and provide informative reading for the dry needling practitioner.
