Andrew Hutton, Founder and Principal Physiotherapist

• Founded Sports Point in 1994
• More than 16 years experience in physiotherapy
• NSW Institute of Sport Accredited and APA Titled Sports  Physiotherapist
• Currently a specialist educator on dry needling and acupuncture, including recent education of
o Physiotherapists and  orthopedic surgeons from Adelaide Crows AFL Club, and
o A group hosted by the Queensland Cowboys club physiotherapists in Townsville

The demand for Andrew Hutton’s courses in dry needling and acupuncture by high level physiotherapists continues to grow. This is a testament to the efficacy of dry these techniques in the treatment of musculoskeletal pain conditions. Sports Point is proud to have one of Australia’s foremost educators in this area.
Ben Coles, Senior Physiotherapist

• Ben has worked in the Ballina/Lennox area for 8 years
• Ben has completed his Grad. Certificate in Sports Physiotherapy  and  completed his Masters at the end of 2006
• Team Physiotherapist for the Ballina Rugby League Club and the Northern Rivers Representative Rugby League Team
• NSW Institute of Sport Accredited Physiotherapist.

Ben has a highly evolved repertoire of musculoskeletal and biomechanical diagnostic techniques and injury specific exercise prescription.  Ben is known amongst his peers for his ability to breakthrough difficult problems/conditions that have plateaued.
Richard Wallace, Physiotherapist

• Previously a locum at Sports Point
• Physiotherapist for the 2004 and 2005 WCT professional surfing event at Bells Beach
• Strong interest in sports, spinal and musculoskeletal pain in the elderly
• Recently has hydrotherapy sessions at Ballina Fair Swim and Gym which are proving popular with clients of all ages

Richard complements his hands on techniques with dry needling, supported by a strong emphasis on home based exercise programming and self management strategies.
